A free service

Gestune is free to use. There is no account and no payment. We may change, add or remove features, songs or pages at any time, and we may pause or stop the service without notice.

Provided as is

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that it will be error free, always available, or that hand tracking, sound or recording will work on every device or browser.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using or not being able to use the site, including lost recordings or data.

Acceptable use

Please use Gestune for its intended purpose: playing and learning music. You agree not to misuse the site, for example by trying to break, overload or interfere with it, by trying to access parts of it that are not meant to be public, or by using it in a way that breaks the law.

Your recordings

Recordings you make with Gestune are created and saved on your own device. You are responsible for what you record and for where and how you share it. Make sure you have permission from anyone else who appears in your clip, and follow the rules of any platform you post to.

Recordings include a small Gestune watermark. Please do not remove it in a way that suggests the clip was made with something else.

Songs, names and trademarks

Song titles, artist names and any related trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the songs in our lessons, and their use does not mean the owners endorse Gestune.

We do not provide lyrics. The chord charts in our lessons are simplified arrangements made for learning, so that each chord can be played with a single hand sign. They are not official or complete transcriptions of the recordings.

Our content

The design, text, sounds and code of Gestune are ours or are used with permission. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial playing and learning, and you may share recordings you make with it.

Privacy

How we handle data is described in our privacy policy. In short, camera video is processed on your device and is never uploaded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when they were last updated. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
